Job Purpose
The IT Project Consultant will support the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects to ensure successful delivery aligned with organizational objectives. The role involves working closely with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to monitor project progress, manage resources, and ensure compliance with regulatory and governance frameworks in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects to ensure alignment with organizational strategies and goals.
- Coordinate project activities including scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignments.
- Track project milestones, monitor progress, and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders and senior management.
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects remain within approved scope and resources.
- Support the preparation of project documentation, procedures, and service documentation.
- Assist in implementing governance, compliance, and excellence frameworks within IT projects.
- Ensure projects comply with Qatar regulatory requirements and IT standards.
- Contribute to risk identification, issue tracking, and mitigation planning throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in IT project coordination, project management, or a similar role.
- Previous experience managing or supporting IT projects within government entities in Qatar is preferred.
