We have an urgent requirement for IT Manager – Digital Transformation, ERP & Cloud Platforms (Education) is required for banking client in Oman

Strong Experience on digital transformation projects or ERP implementations from planning to execution Must to apply for this role

Strong Experience in establish IT governance frameworks, policies, and compliance across multiple institutions Must apply for this role

Strong experience in Enterprise IT Infrastructure must apply for this role

Strong experience in atleast 1 major ERP or digital transformation project end-to-end (full cycle) is MUST

Strong experience in Cloud platform expertise (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS is MUST

Strong Experience In Education Industry Preferred

highly experienced IT Manager to lead its technology strategy and enterprise IT operations across multiple institutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing major digital transformation or ERP implementations, establishing governance frameworks, and ensuring accountability across complex, multi-location operations. This role will play a pivotal part in driving operational efficiency, innovation, and technology-enabled learning outcomes

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Technology Leadership

  • Develop, manage, and optimize the group-wide IT strategy aligned with organizational goals and educational innovation.
  • Lead and execute major digital transformation and ERP initiatives, ensuring successful delivery on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Provide strategic technology guidance to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Establish and enforce IT governance, accountability structures, and cross-institutional technology standards.

IT Infrastructure & Operations

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud environments, and security systems.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of IT services across multiple campuses.
  • Lead IT service management processes to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.

Educational Technology

  • Lead the implementation, integration, and support of educational technology platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and digital learning tools.
  • Collaborate with academic leadership to enhance technology-enabled teaching and learning experiences.

Enterprise Systems & ERP

  • Manage, optimize, and integrate ERP, CRM, EdTech, and cloud-based systems across all institutions.
  • Drive automation and seamless interoperability between enterprise systems.
  • Lead major ERP or enterprise system upgrades and implementations, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum adoption.

Cybersecurity & Governance

  • Establish and maintain robust IT governance frameworks, cybersecurity policies, and compliance standards.
  • Implement business continuity and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard data and critical systems.

Project & Vendor Management

  • Lead technology implementation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including RFPs, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiations.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments.
  • Optimize IT resources and maintain financial accountability for all technology initiatives.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team across multiple locations.
  • Foster a culture of professional development, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Experience

  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in education or multi-site organizations.
  • Proven track record of leading digital transformation or ERP implementations.
  • Experience managing enterprise IT operations in multi-location environments with large user bases.

Technical Expertise

  • Enterprise IT infrastructure and architecture
  • Cloud platforms: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, or equivalent
  • ERP and enterprise management systems
  • Cybersecurity frameworks and IT governance
  • Network infrastructure and systems administration
  • Data analytics and reporting systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL or similar IT service management certification
  • Experience with education technology ecosystems
  • Experience supporting international school environments
