Their most ambitious goal at the time is to introduce a range of Reduced-Risk Products (RRPs). The target audience is more than 1 billion consumers around the globe. IT platform hosts 700+ applications.

Intellia’s mission is to help the client with the engineering of a comprehensive software ecosystem for a game-changing IoT product on the margin of innovative consumer experience and cutting-edge technology. Our teams are involved in the engineering of core platform components for best-in-class eCommerce, Digital Marketing and IoT solutions. As a DevOps engineer, you will become a part of Core Architecture Team and be responsible for the architecture, implementation of best practices in our Digital Engineering Enterprise Platform.

The Platform is a set of services and internet applications that accelerate the development and delivery of software applications by taking care of common SDLC challenges. The Platform provides access and consumption for engineering teams to a set of services, technologies, practices for their development and for operating their application, ensuring a set of compliance and best practices.

Project is in production for 2+ years, being supported by multiple teams.

Our technical domains are:

– AWS cloud, partially Azure

– SSO, Organizations, Service control policies, access models.

– IAAC: terraform enterprise, terratest, chalice

– Serverless: lambda, step functions, wide range of misc automations, fargate

– System, Application, Network and security architectures

– Orchecstration: k8s (eks)

– SRE activities (logging, tracing, monitoring), OpsGenie, Splunk

– Hashicorp Vault

– Hybrid Networking

EXPERIENCE:

· 5+ years of significant experience (architecture and development) with AWS cloud and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

· Proven experience in designing entire cloud landing zones or production-grade environments for critical enterprise workloads

· Strong understanding of resilience engineering, HA patterns, DR strategies and cost-optimized architectural design

· Experience applying DevOps/SRE principles to the infrastructure lifecycle

· Exposure to an international environment

SKILLS:

· Experience in design of cloud infrastructure in AWS cloud for hosting enterprise-class solutions, including containers orchestration

· Experience with CI/CD and operational automation pipelines enabling end-to-end infrastructure lifecycle automation, Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc.

· Experience working on Python scripting

· Experience in Configuration Management solutions

· Working experience in Linux systems administration

· Experience with implementation and testing of automation

· Experience with observability systems (i.e. Elastic, New Relic)

· Experience with privacy and security standards (AWS Foundational Security Best Practices, CIS, etc.)

· Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and CWE 25 with a proven track record and experience in implementing and integrating remediation strategies

· Experience in integrating secure development practices into SDLC (SSDLC) and successfully merging security with the developer's environment

· Ability to incorporate security controls directly into IaC and CI/CD workflows (shift-left)

· Strong understanding of cloud connectivity, including VPC peering, VPNs and hybrid cloud setups. Experience with setting up and managing secure and efficient connectivity between cloud environments and on-premises infrastructure is a plus

· Solution Architect Associate Certification is a plus

· Agile practices (SCRUM, Kanban)

· Good work organization and team collaboration

· Fluent English

Responsibilities:

· End-to-end design of the cloud infrastructure including networking, security baseline, identity model, observability, deployment architecture and operational standards, ensuring readiness to host a critical enterprise application

· Conduct architectural analysis of requirements and translate them into a complete infrastructure blueprint covering HA, DR, compliance, performance and cost-efficiency

· Support expansion and evolution of the company global integration and orchestration platforms and all related service portfolios at IT product level, including documentation, standardization, to better support current and future business needs

· Implement CI/CD, IaC and GitOps-based operational model to ensure reproducible, automated and auditable infrastructure lifecycle

· Design and implement monitoring for system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization to maintain high availability and reliability

· Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operation of integration platforms

· Collaborate with Cloud Infrastructure and Security teams to define and enforce platform-level standards and ensure alignment with enterprise cloud governance

· Follow security and technical standards and trends to evolve integration platforms setup

· Lead the operational readiness process and establish runbooks, SLO/SLA definitions, monitoring standards and escalation processes for long-term maintenance and scaling
