Senior Full-stack PHP/Perl Developer (Core Gateway)

The role is about:In the Core Gateway team, you will be part of a team of experts, their sole mission is to ensure Core Gateway stability and performance. The Core Gateway team provides secure, reliable, and fast online payment processing solutions to business around the world.

You will:

  • Design, build, and maintain a robust financial database
  • Optimize code to ensure peak performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Validate and verify the performance of features during live operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and implement new features
  • Integrate third-party APIs and external services to enhance system functionality and user experience
  • Maintain and update the legacy system


What we need:

  • At least 7 years of experience in software development
  • Proven expertise in both back-end and front-end development
  • Experience in the Fintech or Ecommerce industry (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Proficiency in PHP and Symfony
  • Familiarity with Perl is a plus, or open to learning.
  • Database experience in MongoDB, SQL, MariaDB is a plus.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks, particularly Vue.js, React or Angular is a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • A customer-centric, empathetic mindset with excellent listening skills
  • An ability to focus on what counts, creating simple solutions to deliver fast results
