R&D Trainee Description:

Vivtex is seeking a highly motivated R&D Trainee to join our team starting Spring 2026. This traineeship provides an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic research environment within the biotech industry.

The trainee will support ongoing research programs and contribute to experimental work, data analysis, and scientific landscape research related to oral peptide drug delivery.

Responsibilities:

·      Experimental support: Assist with the execution of in vitro studies and support the screening team in experimental workflows

·      Data analysis: Support processing and analysis of largescale experimental datasets

·      Scientific landscape research: Assist with literature and patent reviews related to drug delivery technologies and relevant therapeutic targets 

Ideal Candidates:

• Current students or recent Master’s / PhD graduates in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, biotech, or related fields
• 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent documentation data management skills.
• Experience with data analysis (R, Python, or Excel) is a plus
• Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to perform as a team member.
• This part-time position is on-site and requires a 6-month minimum commitment. The traineeship is based in Schlieren, ZH.
