We're seeking a proactive professional with hands-on experience in AlgoSec firewalls and F5 DNS systems to ensure rock-solid network security and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and troubleshoot AlgoSec Firewalls and F5 DNS systems; provide 24x7 support for incidents and ad-hoc requests
• Deploy and configure F5 DNS Cache Resolver and Authoritative DNS.
• Collaborate with network engineers to resolve firewall/DNS issues and maintain security policies.
• Optimize DNS performance for high availability, low latency, and scalability.
• Conduct health checks, monitor infrastructure, and troubleshoot complex DNS problems.
• Partner with network, security, and app teams to align solutions with enterprise goals.
• Diagnose/resolve DNS issues for optimal stability and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with firewalls (e.g., AlgoSec) and DNS systems (e.g., F5).
• Strong grasp of DNS protocols, DNSSEC, Anycast, and recursive/iterative query handling.
• Experience in load balancing/traffic management (preferred).
• Knowledge of DNS security best practices and defenses against DNS attacks.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity or related field.
• 6-12 months in security products/appliances.
• Basic firewalls/DNS security platforms knowledge.
• Analytical mindset with risk management and stakeholder skills.
