We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fullstack Developer to join our remote Scrum team. You will play a critical role in the development of a new platform, with a strong focus on integrating and working with modern map technologies such as Google Maps, Mapbox, and OpenStreetMap (OSM). The ideal candidate is confident working across the full stack, communicates clearly, and thrives in a remote, Agile environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality frontend and backend code
  • Build and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Integrate and manage interactive maps and geospatial data using industry-standard tools
  • Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
  • Work closely with team members to refine and deliver business requirements
  • Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to structure and implement features
  • Manage database changes using Liquibase and write performant SQL
  • Use Docker and Docker Swarm to develop, deploy, and manage services
  • Maintain code quality and delivery workflows using Git and GitLab


Required Skills and Experience:


Frontend:


  • Strong experience with React.js
  • Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with modern frontend patterns and state management
  • Hands-on experience with map technologies such as Google Maps, Mapbox, and OpenStreetMap (OSM)


Backend:


  • In-depth experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Solid hands-on experience with Node.js
  • Proven ability to build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)


Database:


  • Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL
  • Experienced in schema versioning and database migrations using Liquibase


DevOps and Infrastructure:


  • Solid experience with Docker and Docker Swarm
  • Proficient in Git and GitLab, including CI/CD workflows


Soft Skills:


  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong ability to work independently in a remote team setting


Nice to Have:


  • Experience with Python
  • Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native development
  • Exposure to logging, monitoring, and observability tools
