The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives with a primary focus on compliance data and company register data projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Plan, execute, and deliver a complex software development project from inception to release, using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
  • Define scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory constraints.
  • Coordinate engineering, design, QA, data, and compliance teams, maintaining clear communication and structured governance.
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers, escalating effectively when required.
  • Establish delivery metrics (velocity, throughput, quality KPIs) and drive continuous improvement.

Product Ownership

  • Own the product vision and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with customer needs, business strategy, and compliance requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog priorities.
  • Work with Sales team to gather market research, competitor analysis, and stakeholder information to refine product direction.
  • Define and monitor product KPIs, using data to guide iteration and feature prioritisation.
  • Champion usability, reliability, and long-term maintainability of the system.

AI & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to integrate AI/ML into workflows, decisioning, analytics, or customer experience.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to scope AI features, evaluate feasibility, and ensure responsible use of models.
  • Understand model performance, data quality, and ethical considerations, contributing to governance and risk assessments.
  • Stay current with emerging AI capabilities relevant to FinTech, such as fraud detection, credit scoring, document automation, or conversational interfaces.

Stakeholder & Compliance Management

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory/compliance teams.
  • Ensure the product meets relevant financial regulations, security standards, and audit requirements e.g. GDRP.
  • Prepare clear documentation, including project plans, product specifications, release notes, and compliance artefacts.
