About This Opportunity
Ericsson Finland employs close to 600 professionals, the majority of whom work in Kirkkonummi, 25 minutes away from the Helsinki city center. Our company is very international with colleagues of over 40 different nationalities. Together with the Finnish network operators and 100 years of Finnish market experience, we are serving the data-hungry nation with mobile technology enabling the benefits of digitalization across our sparsely populated country. Besides that, we focus on research and development especially in the areas of network security, IoT, cloud and 5G, setting Ericsson among the 10 largest product developers in Finland.
What You Will Do
As an Intern in Security Solutions, you will have an outstanding opportunity to work with a group of extremely passionate and hardworking security and software development & operation professionals to help build the next generation of security management and security assurance product. We will offer you a front seat in the fast-paced domain of network security and the possibility to work with the latest tools and technologies. You can start flexibly before the Summer and there may be a possibility to combine the internship with Thesis work. We are working in a hybrid setup, combining remote working days and office days in Jorvas, Kirkkonummi.

You will bring
- Ongoing BSc or MSc studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field
- Knowledge of the Security Domain
- Genuine curiosity about Modern Software Development, DevOps, and Agile practices
- Proficient programming skills in one or more languages e.g. Python, Go
- Experience with modern web development technologies and tools, e.g. NodeJS, Kafka, React etc.
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Approved security clearance might be required for the position.
- Experience or knowledge about Open RAN and rApp
- Experience designing and implementing secure microservice-based solutions
- Competence with Kubernetes and Helm
- Experience in developing for Cloud Platforms, e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OpenStack
- Familiarity with test tools like Robot Framework, Cypress.io, Jest, pytest
- Contribution to Open-Source communities
