Responsibilities:

  • Plan, configure, and deploy IT infrastructure for events, including setting up and managing DHCP servers, Wi-Fi routers, and other networking equipment.
  • Conduct on-site surveys with vendors to determine effective service placement for event locations.
  • Coordinate with wireless service providers (e.g., T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T) to ensure adequate cell tower capacity for optimal performance during events.
  • Develop detailed project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resource allocations for event IT support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to meet project requirements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships for IT equipment and services, ensuring timely delivery and setup.
  • Provide field support for IT setups, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and networks.
  • Deliver on-site technical support during events to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor project progress, adjust plans as needed, and document setups with detailed network diagrams and configurations.
  • Prepare post-event reports analyzing IT performance and suggesting improvements.
  • Oversee internet services and provide desktop and network support at office locations and events.
  • Stay updated on emerging IT networking technologies and best practices.
  • Negotiate with vendors to ensure quality and cost-effective solutions.


Experience:

  • Perform on-site assessments with vendors to identify optimal service placement for event locations.

  • Create comprehensive project plans with clear timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for event IT support.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to fulfill project requirements.
  • Assess and oversee vendor relationships for IT equipment and services, ensuring punctual delivery and installation.
  • Provide hands-on support for IT deployments, handling hardware and network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Offer on-site technical assistance during events to promptly address and resolve IT-related issues.
  • Track project progress, adjust strategies as necessary, and document network setups with detailed diagrams and configurations.
  • Draft post-event reports evaluating IT performance and recommending enhancements.
  • Manage internet services and provide desktop and network support for both office locations and event venues.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in IT networking technologies and industry best practices.
  • Negotiate vendor agreements to achieve high-quality, cost-efficient solutions.
