Project Manager

Our client, a well-established specialist engineering contractor operating across Ireland, has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join their growing team. This role offers the chance to work across a range of mechanical infrastructure and installation projects nationwide.

Company:

Established for a number of years and recognised for delivering specialist mechanical installation and infrastructure projects across Ireland, our client works with a broad range of commercial and industrial clients. They deliver projects involving mechanical systems, infrastructure installations, and specialist equipment across multiple sectors.

Due to continued growth and increasing project demand nationwide, they are now seeking to expand their Dublin-based team with a technically strong engineering professional who can support projects from tender stage through to completion.

Role:

Based in Dublin with travel to sites across Ireland, this is a varied position combining elements of project management, estimating, and commercial project support. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle, from reviewing technical drawings and preparing cost estimates through to coordinating site activities and managing project delivery.

You will work closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification.

Typical responsibilities will include:

* Preparing cost estimates and tender submissions from technical drawings and specifications

* Supporting or managing projects from award through to completion

* Coordinating with clients, subcontractors and suppliers

* Monitoring project costs, variations and budgets

* Assisting with procurement of mechanical equipment and materials

* Attending project meetings and providing progress updates

* Ensuring projects are delivered safely and in line with programme requirements

Person:

For this position we are looking to speak with candidates from a mechanical or engineering background who are interested in developing their career within project delivery and commercial engineering roles.

Suitable candidates may come from roles such as Project Engineer, Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Estimator or Quantity Surveyor within engineering or construction environments.

We would be particularly interested in candidates coming from industries such as:

* Mechanical engineering / process engineering

* Heavy industry

* Utilities or infrastructure projects

* Construction or mechanical installations

* Energy, oil & gas or fuel infrastructure

Requirements:

* Mechanical background - ideally Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or similar qualification

* Experience working within engineering, industrial or construction environments

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* Full driver's licence (nationwide travel required)

Previous experience within fuel infrastructure or petroleum related projects would be beneficial but is not essential.

Package:

* Salary: €60,000 - €65,000 DOE
