Your Mission
At Nuvei, we are building the payment infrastructure that powers commerce around the world. As a Product Manager - Alternative Payment Methods (APM), you will play a key role in expanding and evolving our global APM portfolio.
This role goes beyond feature delivery. You will help shape Nuvei's payment connectivity, transforming diverse local payment methods into a seamless, scalable, and high‑performance checkout experience for merchants worldwide.
What You'll Do
End‑to‑End Product Ownership:
- Own the full APM delivery lifecycle, from early discovery with local and global partners through launch, optimization, and ongoing performance monitoring
- This includes market analysis, end‑to‑end thinking across the product, and a strong understanding of operational flows, ensuring upstream and downstream dependencies are identified and managed to drive holistic outcomes —not just feature delivery
Backlog & Roadmap Management: Manage and continuously prioritize the product backlog in alignment with Nuvei's roadmap, business objectives, and merchant needs.
Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration: Act as the voice of the merchant and work closely with R&D, Sales, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Reconciliation, Support, and Integration teams across regions and time zones.
User Journey Focus: Take a holistic view of the payer journey, identify friction points across the checkout and payment lifecycle, and champion UX improvements that drive conversion and payment success.
Who You Are
- Payments Fundamentals: Ideally you have a basic understanding of the payments landscape, including API‑based integrations and common regional payment methods, and are eager to learn and deepen this knowledge
- Business‑Oriented Mindset: You have an understanding of how payments impact business outcomes, to translate product capabilities into customer value
- A Structured Problem Solver: You can break down problems into clear steps, clarify requirements, and address challenges in a dynamic environment
- Collaborative by Nature: You communicate clearly, build strong cross‑functional relationships, and align stakeholders around shared outcomes
- 2 years of experience preferred in fintech or payments. Otherwise Tech/saas environment
- Proven experience operating within large, global organizations and navigating cross‑functional delivery
- A product‑as‑a‑service mindset, focused on building scalable, reusable solutions with long‑term impact
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate requirements into clear business value
- Proficiency in English - written and spoken
