📍 Utrecht | Hybrid | 36 hours per week | Contract: 9 months (possible extension)


For one of our banking clients, we are looking for an experienced Digital Product Manager / Customer Journey Manager who will drive the optimization of digital customer journeys within the Insurance & Pensions sales domain.

In this role, you will focus on improving digital sales funnels, increasing conversion, and enhancing the customer experience using data-driven insights and experimentation.


Your Role

As a Digital Product Manager, you will take ownership of a cluster of customer journeys and ensure continuous optimization of the digital experience. You will identify opportunities to improve performance and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.

You will collaborate with data analysts, UX designers, marketers, product managers, and sales specialists to ensure customer journeys deliver both excellent customer experience and strong commercial results.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize digital customer journeys to improve performance and reach sales targets
  • Monitor and analyze journey performance using data, customer insights, and market trends
  • Identify drop-off points in the lead funnel or application flows and create improvement plans
  • Drive conversion optimization and experimentation
  • Collaborate with IT, UX, data, marketing, and product teams to implement improvements
  • Ensure teams are aligned on priorities and focused on delivering measurable results

Example Activities

  • Analyze data from an insurance application journey to identify where customers drop off
  • Develop and implement initiatives to increase conversion and improve customer engagement
  • Coordinate with experts working on housing and lifestyle insurance propositions


Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in customer journey optimization, digital product management, or CX roles
  • Mandatory: Experience in an e-commerce environment within retail
  • Experience in banking or insurance is a plus
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
  • Results-oriented and comfortable working in cross-functional teams


Additional Information

  • 36 hours per week (not negotiable)
  • Hybrid working model with a weekly office day in Utrecht (Tuesday)


Languages

  • Dutch and English (B2 level or higher) required.
