Machine Learning Data Software Engineer – Consulting assignment
We at WeQuel are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Data Software Engineer for a consulting assignment in Malmö. The role involves expanding engineering capabilities with a focus on machine learning. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong competencies in Data Science, Machine Learning, and proficient in hands-on Python coding.

The ideal candidate will exhibit strong competencies in Data Science, Machine Learning, and proficient in hands-on Python coding.

Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of projects ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Developing and deploying ML models
- Engaging in problem-solving with an emphasis on understanding the underlying mechanisms
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Interpreting vague requirements and translating them into actionable tasks
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning
- Proficient in Python coding
- Solid understanding of Computer Science principles
- Experience with C++ is advantageous
- Experience with generative AI is also desirable.
- Ability to navigate and adapt in uncertain environments
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Swedish is a plus.
