Our engineering team works across the full stack — Laravel, React, Inertia.js, and Shopify APIs — delivering products that merchants rely on every day.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced QA Engineer who can take ownership of quality across the entire product surface: front-end, back-end, APIs, and integrations.

You’ll work closely with our development team to establish testing standards, build automation frameworks, and ensure that only high-quality code reaches production.

This is not a “click around and log tickets” role — we’re looking for someone who understands systems, writes code, and takes real ownership of quality.

What You'll Do

• Own the end-to-end QA process, from test strategy to execution and release sign-off.
• Design and maintain automated test suites covering unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Test Shopify storefronts, themes, apps, and custom integrations.
• Write and maintain API tests for REST and webhook-based integrations (Shopify, ERPs, WhatsApp Business API).
• Build CI/CD-integrated testing pipelines to catch regressions before they reach production.
• Identify architectural risks and testability gaps early in the development process.
• Collaborate with developers during code reviews to improve test coverage and reliability.
• Maintain structured QA documentation including test plans, test cases, regression suites, and defect tracking.
• Drive a strong quality culture across the team and continuously improve testing practices.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on QA engineering experience in a product or agency environment.
• Strong automation testing experience using frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar.
• Ability to write test code in JavaScript / TypeScript and/or PHP (Laravel testing experience is a strong plus).
• Solid front-end testing expertise including cross-browser, responsive, accessibility, and visual regression testing.
• Experience with back-end and API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or custom scripted suites.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Structured and methodical approach to testing — documenting what is tested, why, and the results.
• Strong ownership mentality — proactively identifying what needs to be tested instead of waiting for instructions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with the Shopify ecosystem (themes, apps, Liquid, Storefront API, checkout extensibility).
• Familiarity with Laravel + Inertia.js / React stacks.
• Experience with WhatsApp Business API or multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Performance and load testing experience (k6, Artillery, JMeter).
• Experience working with remote, distributed teams across time zones.
