About the role:
Xperi/Vewd focuses on technology for Smart TVs and STBs. We work with customers like TPVision, Amazon, Sony, Vestel, and with some of the biggest content partners in the world, helping them deploy their services on our customer’s platforms.

Join our team dedicated to delivering cutting-edge Xperi/Vewd products. As an Embedded Software Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting customers with the seamless integration of our products into their platforms. This is a great opportunity to leverage your problem-solving skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
You'll work closely with an extended team of experienced engineers across Poland and Taiwan, driving innovation and excellence.
What you will get to do:
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, portable, and reliable C++ code (25M+ LOC; majority in C++, but JavaScript/Python is also there!)
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs for a plethora of platforms and device solutions
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Work in international environment with various teams across the globe
- Being self-reliant, with a proactive approach and willingness to share your knowledge with peers
- Proactively seek assistance when required and actively contribute to team activities including design reviews, code reviews and mentoring
- Stay current about industry developments, Smart TV and embedded technologies
Must have:
- At least 2 years of experience with C, C++
- Familiar with modern C++ coding (11 or above)
- Firm understanding of object-oriented programming
- Familiar with HTML/JavaScript
- Knowledge of web standards
- Good working knowledge of English, written and spoken
- Good communication and troubleshooting skills
- Drive and commitment to work in a highly dynamic environment
- Experience in the development and debugging of Linux based embedded systems
- Experience in Chrome devtools or similar tool for issue analysis/debugging
- Experience in Smart TV product certification
- Solid knowledge of HTML and web standards
- Working experience with Jenkins and CI/CD
- The ability to propose, design and develop solutions that scale
- Keen troubleshooting skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
