We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Operations & Delivery to lead and transform our technical support and operations function globally.

This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who is actively involved in deploying, configuring, and managing cybersecurity solutions, while also guiding teams responsible for operational support.


The position requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies and the ability to lead technical projects from planning through implementation and7x24 operational support.

Key Responsibilities


Leadership & Strategy


  • Lead the daily operations of the Cybersecurity Operations and Support teams, to provide 7x24 support to local and global customers of Kron.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for customer requests, incidents and operational issues.
  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Operations & Support function, aligning with company-wide priorities and growth objectives.
  • Report directly to C-level executives, providing regular updates on operational performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centric thinking.


Operational Excellence


  • Participate directly in system configuration, security hardening, and technical troubleshooting when needed.
  • Plan and lead cybersecurity implementation projects
  • Oversee all daily support operations, ensuring SLAs and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex, high-impact incidents — coordinating cross-functional teams for swift resolution.
  • Design and implement scalable processes for incident management, monitoring, documentation, and reporting.
  • Drive knowledge sharing, standard operating procedures, and engineering best practices across the organization.


Cross-functional Collaboration


  • Partner closely with Development, QA, and Product teams to ensure smooth deployment and product support pipelines.
  • Represent the Operations & Support function in executive and cross-departmental forums, advocating for operational needs and surfacing strategic insights.
  • Stay hands-on with critical production issues when needed, maintaining technical credibility with the team.


Requirements


  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, infrastructure operations, or technical security roles.
  • 5+ years managing technical teams responsible for security operations or infrastructure support.
  • Proven experience implementing cybersecurity technologies and security infrastructure projects.
  • Strong experience in operational troubleshooting and security system deployment.
  • Strong background in Linux/Unix systems and Shell scripting.
  • Proficient with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) — including query optimization, indexing, and performance troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting and managing Java Applications and Apache Tomcat environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V, OpenStack) and cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure).
  • Solid understanding of IP networking: routing, permissions, and tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark.
  • Familiarity with Web Services, JUnit, Postman, or similar testing frameworks preferred.
  • Exposure to CSR management systems and service portals is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills — able to translate complex technical topics for executive audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and adept at managing competing priorities.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Turkish proficiency is an advantage.
