Role Summary:
Reporting to the Associate Director – Operational Enablement, this role is responsible for working within the DMCC Freezone and cross-functional teams to lead the end-to-end implementation of projects & enhancements requiring process and system changes.
Analyze process and data to derive meaningful insights for successful implementation of projects and enhancements. Lead complex technology upgrade projects requiring the involvement of cross-functional teams in DMCC and non-DMCC entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage requirements through the project lifecycle by establishing and maintaining agreements between all stakeholders.
- Consult with business and IT partners to plan and implement assigned projects within designated time and budget constraints.
- Lead project management, planning and coordination activities.
- Assess change requests related to requirements to assess overall impact and engage business stakeholders to take informed decisions on change requests.
- Build relationships and credibility with key business stakeholders on each project in order to aid effective delivery and maximum benefit.
- Develop and maintain project plans & project schedules.
- Provide timely and accurate updates into weekly/ fortnightly / monthly status updates.
- Monitor project progress (including the producing consolidated reports, milestone summaries, Issues Registers, Risks Registers, Benefits Trackers, Summary of Costs incurred)
- Establish standards, tools and procedures for use on the project, including Issues, Risk, Change and Information Management Trackers.
- Support the Associate Director - Operational Enablement, with the Quarterly Prioritization of Projects and Enhancements.
- Circulate periodic, accurate and transparent status updates to DMCC Leadership and other project stakeholders.
- Support the Associate Director - Operational Enablement in conducting post-implementation reviews for medium and large projects.
- Identify, assess, and implement improvements that will drive efficiencies in the project management life cycle, OE, Business user and IT processes.
- Perform regular quality audits on Projects and Enhancements process and ensure all required artefacts are maintained in the designated folders.
- Ensure no high-risk audit findings in the projects and enhancements area.
- Ensure all documents, artefacts and reports are stored in the shared drive’s designated folders.
- Analyse discrete business problems and make them easier to solve by leveraging on process and system architecture knowledge.
- Ensure all business scenarios are comprehensively covered in UAT.
- Obtain business user signoff on UAT as required.
- Maintain traceability of requirements through the BRD, UAT, and Production Deployment.
- Liaise with IT to resolve bugs reported by business users in a reasonable time-frame.
- Ensure comprehensive retesting of business scenarios once bugs are resolved.
- Ensure regression testing, performance testing, system integration testing is conducted in UAT environment as is appropriate to the nature of change being implemented.
- Ensure sanity testing, Performance, regression testing is conducted as appropriate in production environment as appropriate to the nature of change being implemented.
- Support Business Users in tracking and resolving production issues for recently deployed enhancements. The duration of the support would vary on the process cycle time for the enhancement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, MBA Preferred.
- 5-8 years’ experience in Business Analysis, User Acceptance Testing and Project Management / Portfolio Management, leading technology upgrade/ implementation projects end-to-end
- Ability to interview and facilitate focused group discussions, is a plus.
- Project Management: PMP certification preferred, Business Analysis: CBAP certification preferred. Salesforce: Certification highly preferred.
- In-depth Knowledge of Free Zone Processes, Project Management Tools, Reporting Tools.
- Project Management Tools: Clarizen, ClickUp, MS Projects etc. (Mandatory)
- Strong Communication Skills (Listening, Verbal, Written)
- Computer skills: Strong proficiency with Microsoft MS Office Suite, Visio, Minitab.
