Overview

As a Junior Engineer, you’ll support development, testing and deployment of AI, automation and marketing platform solutions. You’ll build components, maintain pipelines and observability, document systems, and help adapt prototypes for live market use. Expect rotations across projects to develop broad skills in software engineering, MLOps and platform reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and clean data, support tagging frameworks and perform exploratory analysis to enable modelling and reporting.
  • Assist with model training workflows and validate model outputs; build dashboards to track model and campaign performance.
  • Build and manage platform software: implement and maintain APIs, services and integrations; write testable code and participate in reviews.
  • Ensure enterprise level security: apply secure coding, access controls, encryption and vulnerability checks to meet compliance requirements.
  • Site reliability & observability: own CI/CD, monitoring, logging and incident response; maintain runbooks and optimise pipelines for performance and uptime.
  • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists and product teams to operationalise metrics, features and model integration.
  • Maintain documentation (architecture notes, runbooks, deployment guides) and handover materials for production systems.
  • Assist in adapting prototypes for production readiness across client and APAC

Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of experience; or recent graduate in computer science, software engineering or related field.
  • Strong fundamentals in coding and algorithms; proficient in at least one language (Python, Java, Go, Node.js, etc.).
  • Comfortable with Git, command-line tools and basic Linux.
  • Quick learner, proactive, with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, containers and orchestration will be a plus
  • Basic familiarity with CI/CD tools, infrastructure-as-code or configuration management.
  • Experience with logging/monitoring tools or basic MLOps workflows.
  • Internships or project work involving deployment, pipeline automation, or platform integrations.
