Network Engineer | Hybrid (2–3 Days Onsite) | £48,000

Network Engineer opportunity for someone who enjoys working across modern hybrid infrastructure – combining traditional networking with cloud connectivity and security.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving a secure, high-availability network environment, supporting both on-premise and cloud platforms while working closely with internal IT teams and vendors.

📍 Location: Havant + Hybrid (2–3 days onsite)

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintain and support LAN, WAN and WLAN infrastructure
• Configure and manage Fortinet firewalls and security appliances
• Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues
• Implement network security controls, access management and threat prevention
• Support cloud networking across Azure / AWS environments
• Work with internal teams and vendors on network projects and incident resolution
• Maintain accurate network documentation and architecture diagrams
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, resilience and security

What We’re Looking For

✔ Hands-on experience with Fortinet technologies (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)

✔ Strong networking fundamentals – TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs

✔ Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS or similar)

✔ Knowledge of network security and firewall management

✔ Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration

💡 Nice to have:

• Certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or AWS/Azure certifications
