We’re partnering with a leading financial institution that is looking for a high-performing Python Developer with 3–5 years of experience to join their growing technology team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on high-performance financial applications, cloud-based systems, and complex API integrations within a fast-paced financial environment.

💻 The Opportunity

As a Python Developer, you’ll work on building and optimising scalable financial platforms while leveraging AWS cloud technologies. You’ll collaborate with engineers, architects, and financial specialists to develop secure, high-performing systems that support critical financial operations.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

✔️ Python Development: Build and optimise high-performance financial applications using Python.

✔️ AWS Cloud Engineering: Develop scalable cloud-based systems using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, and RDS.

✔️ Financial Data & API Integration: Design and integrate APIs with third-party financial data providers.

✔️ Database Development: Work with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB.

✔️ Cloud Automation & Performance Optimisation: Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and built for high performance.

✅ What You’ll Need

• 3–5 years of Python development experience, ideally within financial services
• Strong hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS)
• Experience working with financial data systems, trading platforms, or investment technology
• Strong knowledge of API development and third-party integrations (RESTful services)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation tools is highly desirable
