Senior Software Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance C++ Developer to join a long-term project with our client based in Leuven, Belgium.

This is a 12-month contract with a hybrid working model, requiring 3 days on-site in Leuven and 2 days remote per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software components using C++ on Windows platforms
• Work on performance-critical and robust software systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, architects, and product stakeholders
• Debug, optimize, and improve existing codebases
• Contribute to software design and technical discussions

Required Skills

• Strong professional experience with C++ development
• Proven experience developing applications on Windows environments
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and system design
• Experience working with large or complex codebases
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid/on-site team environment
