My client is looking for a Full‑Stack Engineer to join our Helsinki‑based product team and help shape a modern SaaS platform transforming how businesses manage, analyse, and automate their financial operations. If you thrive in fast‑moving environments and love crafting clean, scalable cloud-native applications, this is your place.
You’ll work as a core member of our engineering team, developing end‑to‑end features across a TypeScript-first stack powered by React, Node.js, and AWS. You’ll solve complex fintech challenges, build high‑performance APIs, and help create beautiful UI experiences that customers rely on daily.
This role is perfect for someone who cares deeply about good engineering, clean architecture, and building secure, reliable financial software at scale.
What You’ll Work On
- Build and maintain responsive, high-quality interfaces using React + TypeScript.
- Develop secure, scalable backend services with Node.js and modern API patterns.
- Design and enhance cloud-native infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS, CloudFormation/CDK, etc.).
- Work across the full product lifecycle—from ideation to deployment—to deliver new fintech features.
- Collaborate with design, product, and data teams to shape a seamless and intuitive SaaS experience.
- Prioritise reliability, security, observability, and performance in everything you ship.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with React and a deep understanding of modern front‑end patterns.
- Solid backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript-based microservices.
- Hands-on knowledge of AWS (serverless or container-based architectures).
- Familiarity with relational databases and REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Understanding of fintech best practices: security, auditing, compliance, data integrity (experience helpful but not required).
- A product mindset comfortable taking ownership and building features end to end.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with CI/CD tooling, IaC (CDK/Terraform), or event-driven architectures.
- Background in payments, accounting systems, banking APIs, or regulatory tech.
- Knowledge of React Query, Next.js, or micro-frontend architecture.
