We don't have the fame, but we've got the flame. We are a distributed group of specialists within NTT DATA Romania, who make the best out of JVM-based technologies, creativity and business solutions. Referred to as Java Competence Center, we co-create and co-accelerate with key players in any field. Without being limited to any business unit, we demonstrated our deep Java development expertise by delivering SaaS platforms in various domains: Web Applications in e-Commerce, Automotive, Telco, Insurance, Banking and Public sector, even Big Data and scientific applications. Our current emphasis lies on PaaS solutions, with a specific focus on Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift, AWS, and Cloud Foundry. With the increasing demand for Microservices projects, we have created a reference architecture for our major clients, researched various frameworks, and identified the ones that are highly sought after by the large enterprises we collaborate with.
We’re looking for a highly engaged FullStack Developer (Java & Angular) for one of our projects that acts as a centralized image repository serving multiple downstream systems within a large enterprise environment in the automotive industry. The platform ensures the high-quality provision of product images for accurate and high-end presentation across numerous applications.
It is a modern, technically challenging project that offers real ownership, scale, and the chance to make a visible impact.

What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java with Quarkus
- Develop and enhance frontend applications using Angular (LitElements and Vue.js are a plus)
- Deliver end-to-end features across the full stack, from UI to backend services
- Ensure clean architecture, high code quality, and maintainable solutions
- Collaborate closely with DevOps engineers, architects, and other stakeholders
- Contribute to cloud-related topics in AWS and infrastructure as code using Terraform (nice to have)
- Support integration, testing, and deployment processes
- Contribute to operational support under strict SLAs in an AWS environment
- Qualify for operational responsibilities, including participation in an on-call rotation (required for prolongation)
- Drive continuous improvement in automation, performance, and reliability
- Bachelor’s degree in Informatics or similar field of study, or equivalent working experience
- Strong hands-on experience in backend development with Java (Quarkus preferred)
- Solid frontend development experience with Angular (experience with LitElements and/or Vue.js is a plus)
- Experience delivering full-stack solutions in distributed system environments
- Basic knowledge or practical experience with AWS and Terraform is a plus
- Understanding of cloud-native development and modern software engineering practices
- Experience working in environments with strict SLAs is an advantage
- Willingness to qualify for operational support and participate in on-call rotation
- Strong ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving skills
- Very good English communication skills, written and spoken
- Ability to document solutions clearly and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
