Job Description

The Finance Tribe’s mission is to ensure Danske Bank realizes its full financial potential - benefiting customers, colleagues, society, and investors - by building a financially solid foundation. We accomplish this by efficiently managing and steering the bank’s finances.

To support this journey, we are seeking a full-stack developer in the Profitability Block who will play a vital role in modernising our critical web application used by frontline advisors to support profitable customer relationships.

Danske Bank supports a high degree of workplace flexibility (our team is currently using a hybrid working model, where we work at least 3 days a week in the office.).

This role does not include a relocation allowance.

You will:

  • Drive the modernization of the web application, ensuring it becomes a robust, scalable and user-friendly solution built on modern technology
  • Collaborate with end-users, product owner & squad members to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Design, develop and optimise the application’s architecture to maintain high standards for code quality, performance & security
  • Manage and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment processes (CI/CD) to streamline development and deployment
  • Seek opportunities to refine and enhance day-to-day processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness within the team, for example by applying generative AI-assisted software development best practices

About you:

  • Experience with .NET
  • Experience with JS/Typescript and React or Angular framework
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud service provider would be beneficial
  • Experience with DevOps (setting up CI/CD pipelines), Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform) would be beneficial
  • A self-driven learner who embraces new technologies and is eager to continuously improve skills and knowledge
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives on solving challenges and delivering effective solutions
  • It’s a significant advantage if you hold a university degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related field
  • Advanced English, both written and verbal

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3520 EUR to 5280 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

Your job function (position) in the job contract will be IT Software Engineer (Cloud Specialist). From 1 April 2026 it will be renamed to Software Engineering under our new job architecture, with no impact on the role or responsibilities.
