Java Developer (Ref: HY47222)

A Japanese manufacturer is currently recruiting a Java Developer to join their Hoofddorp office in the Netherlands.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend features using Java, writing clean and testable code, and supporting testing, documentation, and maintenance activities within the team.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in Software Development.

TYPE: Full-time, initially 1 year contract (with potential for extension)

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

SALARY: €55,840 - €60,028 per annum, depending on experience (including 13th bonus and holiday allowance)

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Hoofddorp, Netherlands (Office-based, working from home is possible as long as this has been discussed with the section manager)

Java Developer Main Responsibilities:

• Programming and testing in accordance with the company’s standards.

• Design and documentation of systems

• End user interviews and analysing their requirements to implement in systems

• Everything by learning on the job in close collaboration with team members and attending training sessions

• Taking prompt action to the issue occurs in test/production systems in collaboration with team members

Java Developer Ideal Candidate:

• At least 3 years of experience in Software Development

• Team worker, able to participate successfully in an international working environment with commercial and business awareness

• Good communication skills and good verbal and written English

• Knowledge of Java, Oracle database and Unix/Linux environments on AWS is an advantage

• Working experience with Eclipse and version control systems is an advantage

• Demonstrate a hands-on approach, independent thinking, and a strong commitment to continuous learning and the adoption of new technologies. Actively contributes to discussion, improvements, and innovation

• This position requires a full-time employment, based in Hoofddorp
