๐Ÿ” What we are looking for

We are looking to grow our team with an Electronics Engineer who is passionate about wearables and IoT technology and eager to develop hands-on skills in hardware design and firmware development. This role bridges electronics design, assembly, firmware development, and testing systems. You will work closely with full-stack and cloud architecture engineers, as well as the quality team, contributing to both production and continuous improvement of our wearable foot sensor.

 

๐Ÿ‘‡Responsibilities

As an Electronics Engineer, you will be involved in the design, prototyping, validation, and integration of electronic systems powering our smart insole as non-intrusive, 24/7 tracker of human mobility and physical health.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and development of embedded systems, including firmware development in C/C++ and FreeRTOS for microcontrollers and low-power devices
  • PCB design (schematic capture and layout), assembly, and debugging from prototype to production
  • Perform soldering for product assembly, repair, and component replacement
  • Design and development of test and control tools for internal R&D and production environments
  • Participation in testing, validation, reliability, and regression activities to meet product requirements and AQL standards
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement test protocols and improve operational efficiency
  • Support in the development of technical documentation (datasheets, manuals, guidelines).

 

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Skills & Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in hardware design or embedded product development.
  • Knowledge of analog and digital electronics and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium)
  • Comfortable with embedded firmware development (C/C++, RTOS) and microcontroller programming
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping, soldering, and debugging
  • Understanding of microcontrollers, communication protocols, and low-power design
  • Familiarity with hardware certification norms (IEC) and hardware validation processes, is desirable.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal; Portuguese fluency preferred.
