Job Type: Full-Time

About The Role

We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer – Level 2 to join our Signals Team, contributing to the development of secure, scalable applications that support digital identity and authentication services.

You will work across the stack—from intuitive frontend interfaces to robust backend systems—collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver impactful solutions. This role is ideal for engineers who can independently deliver well-scoped features while growing toward broader system ownership.

Signals Team Mission

Accelerating global expansion with locally trusted identity verification solutions

The Signals team builds and maintains critical identity verification capabilities that enable secure onboarding and regulatory compliance worldwide, including:

  • Proof of Address (PoA)
  • AML (Anti-Money Laundering) checks
  • eKYC database integrations
  • eID and digital identity integrations

These systems power trusted identity flows across multiple geographies and regulatory environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain fullstack applications using React (TypeScript), Kotlin, Python, and Ruby
  • Develop and integrate APIs and microservices deployed on AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, privacy-compliant features aligned with regulations (e.g., GDPR, BIPA, CCPA)
  • Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and agile ceremonies
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and system reliability
  • Partner with product and UX teams to deliver high-quality user experiences
  • Apply secure coding practices and contribute to identity and cryptographic systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while improving observability and system performance
  • Continuously learn and propose improvements to systems, tools, and practices

Key Projects You’ll Support

  • Enhancing Signals products across identity verification and authentication
  • Evolving the Signals platform architecture in partnership with senior engineers
  • Building APIs to improve developer experience and integration consistency
  • Supporting real-time data processing and analytics capabilities
  • Integrating advanced security and identity features into Entrust’s platform

Required Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of professional experience in fullstack or software engineering
  • Proficiency in React/TypeScript and at least one backend language (Python, Kotlin, or Ruby)
  • Experience building and consuming APIs and microservices
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture
  • Knowledge of software security principles and privacy-by-design approaches
  • Experience working in agile environments with CI/CD practices
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Sentry, New Relic)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of identity protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect)
  • Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot or Ruby on Rails
  • Familiarity with identity verification, fraud, or compliance systems
  • Understanding of privacy regulations and their technical implications
  • Exposure to secure SDK development or mobile security concepts

Why Join Entrust?

  • Work on high-impact identity and security systems used globally
  • Be part of a team driving geo-expansion and regulatory-compliant products
  • Collaborate in a supportive, inclusive, and innovative engineering culture
  • Flexible working (hybrid/remote) to support work-life balance
