This role is a hands-on developer position focused on building, enhancing, and scaling a production RPA (Robotic Process Automation) framework. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to design robust automation workflows, optimize reliability, and push the technical capabilities of the system forward. The position emphasizes ownership and innovation, giving you the ability to directly influence production systems that impact real business outcomes. You will leverage Python, TypeScript, and Claude Code to accelerate automation development, integrating with APIs, internal tools, and third-party services. This is a highly collaborative, remote-friendly environment where full-stack experience is valued and problem-solving is celebrated. The role also provides opportunities to contribute to monitoring, optimization, and end-to-end system architecture.
Accountabilities
- Develop, extend, and maintain the core RPA framework and its underlying infrastructure.
- Build new automation workflows and improve existing ones using Python, TypeScript, and Claude Code.
- Design scalable, reliable, and maintainable automation logic and oversee end-to-end system architecture.
- Integrate automation workflows with APIs, internal tools, and third-party services, ensuring correct data flows.
- Identify and address failure patterns, performance bottlenecks, and logic gaps, improving reliability and resilience.
- Monitor live automations, validate outputs, and troubleshoot production incidents with a developer-focused approach.
- Maintain clear documentation, runbooks, and SOPs for all automation systems and processes.
- Contribute to frontend and full-stack components where needed, enhancing connected interfaces.
- 2+ years of experience in RPA development, automation engineering, or a closely related software development role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code or equivalent AI-assisted coding tools.
- Experience with APIs, logs, data validation, and production-level automation systems.
- Full-stack and frontend development capabilities are strongly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ownership over production systems.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
- Nice-to-have: experience building or scaling an RPA framework, familiarity with fintech or operational workflows, exposure to intelligent automation workflows, and prior startup or product-led environment experience.
