SENIOR FULLSTACK ENGINEER - REMOTE

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team in the FinTech space. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications that power our financial products. This role requires strong expertise in Kotlin for backend services and React for building intuitive user interfaces, along with working knowledge of Python and MySQL.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure web applications.

- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Kotlin

- Build responsive and interactive front-end applications using React.

- Micro servicing architecture using Google gRPC.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high- quality solutions.

- Optimise application performance and ensure best practices in coding and architecture.

- Integrate third-party APIs and financial data sources.

- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive technical excellence.

- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in financial applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 5+ years of professional experience in software development.

- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and frameworks like JakartaEE or Spring Boot.

- Solid experience with React.js, Redux (to maintain and refactoring of depreciated Redux code.), and modern front-end tooling.

- Working knowledge of Python for scripting or auxiliary services.

- Proficiency in MySQL and familiarity with other SQL databases.

- Experience with AWS

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Understanding of financial systems, payment gateways, or trading platforms is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
