Your new role and environment.

As our new Compensation Technology Specialist, you will operate at the heart of our global, fast-moving company. By configuring, testing, and supporting HR application environments, you ensure AD Group Enterprise Platforms has the processes and structures in place to continue our high-level performance.

As a Compensation Technology Specialist, you will be joining our Tech department. Our Tech department is the driving force behind the technology in our organization. Powered by our innovative strategies, our Tech teams ensure we’re fully aligned to develop, maintain, and improve our technology platforms and applications. We are responsible for ensuring the efficient management of payroll platform for over 400,000 associates, making sure that our HR functions is delivering payslips promptly and accurately. Our team excels in prioritizing tasks and addressing critical issues swiftly, ensuring the seamless functioning of our vital services.

Within this landscape, the role focuses on SuccessFactors Compensation, a critical component of our global Pay & Rewards ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities Of Your Role.

Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities. Here are the key ones:

SuccessFactors Compensation Configuration

  • Configure and maintain SAP SuccessFactors Compensation module according to business requirements, global reward policies, and local market needs.
  • Translate compensation policies (merit increases, bonuses, guidelines, eligibility rules) into system configuration, including templates, worksheets, guidelines, and calculation logic.
  • Maintain and update compensation structures, eligibility rules, budgets, proration logic, and currency handling.
  • Ensure configuration aligns with downstream processes and integrations (e.g. payroll, reporting, analytics).
  • Support annual and off‑cycle compensation processes by preparing and validating system setup ahead of execution.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Design, execute, and document test scenarios for SuccessFactors Compensation configuration changes, releases, and compensation cycles.
  • Perform functional testing, regression testing, and end‑to‑end testing in collaboration with HR, payroll, and IT stakeholders.
  • Validate calculation logic, data accuracy, eligibility outcomes, and approval workflows against business expectations.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects or gaps, and coordinate resolution with internal teams or external partners.
  • Ensure test evidence and documentation meet internal control and audit requirements.

Change & Release Support

  • Support change management activities related to SuccessFactors Compensation, including impact analysis, release preparation, and deployment support.
  • Ensure configuration changes follow agreed governance, documentation, and approval processes.
  • Coordinate configuration activities across environments (test, preview, production) in line with release schedules.
  • Support post‑release validation and stabilization activities.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Support

  • Act as subject‑matter expert for SuccessFactors Compensation towards HR, Rewards, and Payroll stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with HR Product Owners and business teams to clarify requirements and advise on system capabilities and limitations.
  • Support business users during compensation cycles by resolving functional issues and answering system‑related questions.
  • Work closely with external implementation or support partners where applicable.

Continuous Improvement & Documentation

  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or optimize compensation configuration and processes.
  • Maintain clear and up‑to‑date documentation of configuration decisions, templates, test cases, and procedures.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing within the HR Tech / Pay & Rewards domain.

Project Support

  • Contribute to HR Tech and Pay & Rewards projects as SuccessFactors Compensation expert.
  • Support solution design, configuration decisions, and testing activities within projects.
  • Ensure compensation configuration aligns with agreed requirements and timelines.

Requirements.

  • 2–5 years of experience working with SAP SuccessFactors in a functional configuration role.
  • Proven experience in configuring and testing SuccessFactors Compensation, including templates, guidelines, eligibility rules, and calculations (merit, bonus, annual review)
  • Solid understanding of reward and compensation processes, preferably in an international or multi‑country environment.
  • Experience translating business requirements into system configuration and test scenarios.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially in calculation logic and data validation.
  • Experience working in structured environments with controls, documentation, and audit requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate with HR, IT, payroll, and external vendors in a global setup.
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written), as it is essential to communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders across different locations.

Nice To Have (Not Required)

  • Experience with other SuccessFactors modules (e.g. Employee Central).
  • Familiarity with payroll integration or downstream payroll processes.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and a collaborative, cross-functional team approach.
