Full-timeEngineering, Information Technology
We are building next-generation Advanced Motion functions that integrate Camera and

Chassis-based sensor data to elevate vehicle perception. We need a versatile Machine

Learning Engineer who can tackle a wide range of ML challenges. While a strong focus on

computer vision is essential, you will also apply your broader technical skills to develop and

deliver diverse, non-vision machine learning solutions.

Scope of Work

  • Define vision-based strategies and technical requirements for precise, real-time hitch

angle estimation.

  • Orchestrate end-to-end data campaigns, building automated pipelines for image

ingestion, cleaning, and annotation.

  • Design, train, and benchmark diverse model architectures to ensure superior accuracy

and environmental robustness.

  • Deploy optimized models to edge hardware (e.g., NVIDIA Orin), utilizing model

compression techniques, e.g. quantization/distillation and pruning to minimize latency

without compromising accuracy.

  • Conduct rigorous real-world vehicle testing and failure analysis to ensure the system

meets strict safety and performance KPIs.

Qualifications And Skills Required For The Role

  • Master’s Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Complex Adaptive Systems, Computer

Science or equivalent fields

  • Experience in applied research in AI/ML from industry or academia is highly valued
  • Deep understanding of CNN and Transformer architectures, with practical experience

in Object Detection (YOLO, SSD), Semantic Segmentation, and Pose Estimation.

  • Strong foundation in traditional vision techniques including camera calibration,

projective geometry, and image processing using OpenCV.

  • Proficiency with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Strong coding skills in Python for model development and C/C++ for efficient system

integration.

  • Proven experience compressing SOTA cloud-sized models into efficient edge-ready

versions using advanced model compression techniques while retaining accuracy.

  • Proven track record of deploying AI models on embedded edge devices (e.g., NVIDIA

Jetson, Drive AGX).

  • Hands-on experience with acceleration libraries (TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, TVM)
  • Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay) and testing tools is

highly valued.

  • Understanding of vehicle dynamics is highly appreciated
  • Ability to solve complex problems within cross-functional teams using strong

analytical and root-cause analysis skills.

  • Proficient communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

Personal attributes

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, able to translate customer and system

needs into technical concepts.

  • Structured, self-driven and able to take ownership from idea to validated proof of

concept.

  • Collaborative and open, enjoying cross-functional teamwork with software, hardware, test

and product teams.

  • Ability to explain complex technical topics concisely to both technical and nontechnical

stakeholders.

  • Curious, innovative and eager to explore and benchmark new technologies and control

concepts.

  • Comfortable working in an international environment and managing multiple parallel tasks

and priorities.
