Senior React Developer – Capital Markets Trading Technology

Contract Length: 12 months + potential to extend

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior React Developer to join a team building modern front-end trading applications supporting ETF trading workflows in a capital markets environment. This role will focus on developing high-performance user interfaces used by trading teams while contributing to scalable front-end architecture and reusable UI components.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in lean engineering teams, can work independently, and has experience building market-facing financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern front-end applications using React
• Build intuitive and high-performance user interfaces for trading and market workflows
• Partner with trading teams and technology stakeholders to deliver front-end solutions
• Implement scalable front-end architecture using modern frameworks
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and responsiveness
• Contribute to reusable UI component frameworks

Must-Have Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience
• Strong expertise building front-end applications using React
• Experience working within capital markets or trading environments
• ETF trading technology experience
• Experience with Chakra UI
• Experience using NX (monorepo tooling)
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience building trading platforms
• Experience with market-facing financial applications
• Exposure to capital markets technology ecosystems
• Experience building high-performance financial systems
