Soroc is seeking a Project Manager on contract.
Client : Consulting/ Energy & Utility
Location: 100% onsite at Calgary, AB
Duration: 6 months contract, renewable
Contract Rate: $70-75/hr Incorp
A Project Manager responsible for end‑to‑end delivery across planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget compliance. Requires strong infrastructure knowledge (servers, Citrix, Vblock, networks, cloud, storage) and expertise in risk/issue/change management, stakeholder coordination, ITIL, and Lean/Six Sigma.
Required Skills:
1. Core Project Management Expertise
End‑to‑end project lifecycle management (initiation → closure)
Budgeting, project planning, resource allocation, documentation, risk/issue/change
management
2. Strong Technical Knowledge in Infrastructure
Servers, Citrix, Vblock, data networks, cloud, databases, storage, desktops
3. Process & Tools Proficiency
MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
ITIL framework knowledge
Lean/Six Sigma for process improvements
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with Workstation Refresh Projects
2. Experience with Exchange Migration to Cloud
3. Energy & Utilities Industry Experience
