The Network Analyst is pivotal in designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise networks across FNHA sites, including remote health centers and nursing stations. This directly supports the delivery of healthcare services to First Nations communities, making the role both technically challenging and socially meaningful.

Title: Network Administrator

Salary: $74,663 - $93,328 - $102,660 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hrs (Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:00pm)

Location: Metro Vancouver Office: Sinclair Office , on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations - Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy).

About The Role

The role of Network Analyst designs new network systems, changes network systems configurations, modifies or develops and installs utilities, data communications software and hardware, and end-user network products. The Network Analyst provides senior level technical support to internal FNHA customers by assisting and troubleshooting with complex issues escalated from first level support.

The role analyzes network performances and recommendations. In addition, the role oversees the installation, implementation, and troubleshooting of network related end-user products and services.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have-

Education

  • Candidates must have a university or college degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, along with significant experience (5+ years) managing enterprise networks and video conference systems, especially with Cisco devices. Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, and ITIL Foundation are required.

Experience

  • Significant, recent and relevant experience (5 years or more) in managing enterprise networks and video conference systems with diverse solutions from multiple vendors
  • Must have experience working with Cisco networking devices, switches, routers, video conference devices and wireless.

Knowledge And Competencies

  • The position requires knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, Cisco networking equipment, and familiarity with eHealth clinical video conference technologies. Competencies include effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, diplomacy, sensitivity to First Nations health issues, and a valid driver’s license. Physical ability to perform duties is also necessary.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements. The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
