About the Opportunity

Presidio is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Network Engineer who is eager to begin their career in networking. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who have foundational networking knowledge through coursework, internships, labs, or personal projects.

You will work alongside senior network engineers who will provide hands-on mentorship and training, giving you the opportunity to gain real-world experience supporting enterprise networking environments. This is a great opportunity to build your technical skills while contributing to a large, complex IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior network engineers with daily operational and support tasks
• Provide hands-on rack and stack support for networking equipment
• Support basic network troubleshooting and documentation
• Monitor network alerts and escalate issues to senior engineers when necessary
• Maintain organized documentation of network configurations and hardware inventory
• Participate in knowledge-sharing and training with senior engineering staff

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or early-career professional in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field
• Internship, lab, academic project, or coursework experience in networking environments
• Foundational understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, switching, and routing
• Basic familiarity with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls
• Strong willingness to learn and grow under the guidance of experienced engineers
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team environment

Nice to Have (Not Required):

• CompTIA Network+
• Cisco CCNA (or currently studying for it)
