We are looking for an experienced Lead Python Engineer to join our team.
The project is dedicated to building an AI-driven solution for transforming paper documents (tax services domain) into a digital form using Microsoft’s IDP service.

The project is dedicated to building an AI-driven solution for transforming paper documents (tax services domain) into a digital form using Microsoft’s IDP service.
Responsibilities:
- Build robust and scalable software using Python
- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
- Refactor and review code
- Lead the development team in their everyday activities
- Design tests for automated build and test pipelines
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Work closely with stakeholders on the architecture of the application and requirements clarification
- Collaborate with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and translate them into a pragmatic and effective technical solution
- 6+ years of commercial experience with Python development
- Deep understanding of software engineering best practices
- Solid knowledge of FastAPI, SqlAlchemy, Pydantic, Poetry, asyncio, Azure SDK, DIContainers
- Familiarity and preferably expertise with Azure: AKS, Message Bus, Azure Functions
- Clear understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Upper-Intermediate level of English
- Experience with Document intelligence
- Experience with AI OCR capabilities (Deepseek OCR)
- Experience with prompt optimization
