We’re looking for a SOC Analyst to join our team in Lisbon or Porto.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM and other security monitoring tools.
• Detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents and potential threats.
• Perform initial triage and escalation of security incidents when necessary.
• Support incident response activities and help identify root causes.
• Monitor network traffic and system activity to identify suspicious behavior.
• Contribute to improving security monitoring processes and detection rules.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in SOC, cybersecurity monitoring, or incident response roles.
• Experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring platforms.
• Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and threat detection concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in shift-based environments if required.

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or similar.
• Experience with EDR/XDR tools and threat intelligence platforms.
• Knowledge of scripting or automation (Python, Bash).
• Experience with cloud security environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
