At Clavister, you'll get to combine your technical expertise with problem-solving in a Swedish company with a global reach. We’re looking for a Technical Support Engineer who wants to provide world-class support to our partners, with a focus on networking, firewalls, and cybersecurity.

About The Role

In this role, you will:

  • Provide technical support via phone and ticketing systems
  • Troubleshoot network and security issues, using tools like Wireshark and log analysis
  • Propose solutions and document them in guides and documentation
  • Collaborate with our product teams and contribute to improvements in both products and processes
  • Work with Clavister’s entire product portfolio within cybersecurity

We’re Looking for Someone Who Has:

  • Knowledge of networking, e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, NAT
  • Experience in troubleshooting and log analysis (e.g., Wireshark)
  • Basic understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network protocols
  • Experience handling support tickets and using support tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Basic skills in Windows and Linux
  • An interest in IT security and modern security principles (e.g., SSL, Zero Trust)
  • The ability to provide clear technical instructions, both spoken and written

  • You enjoy problem-solving and troubleshooting, and you can explain technical issues in a way others understand
  • You’re structured, service-minded, and solution-focused – even under pressure
  • You’re self-driven but enjoy close collaboration with others

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

  • Knowledge of Swedish, French, Spanish, or German (spoken and written)
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting firewall solutions/networks
  • Experience with virtual environments (e.g., VMware, KVM, Hyper-V)
