Gold Leaf Financial Group is looking for a talented and driven WordPress Web Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will help develop and maintain WordPress websites that support our brand, strengthen our digital presence, and deliver an exceptional online experience. You will work closely with our marketing, design, and content teams to bring ideas to life while ensuring our websites remain modern, functional, secure, and visually strong.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
• Build responsive, mobile-friendly pages and layouts
• Customize themes, templates, and plugins based on business needs
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, and security
• Troubleshoot website issues and implement timely solutions
• Work closely with graphic designers, marketers, and content creators to ensure a high standard of quality
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and external platforms where required
• Manage website updates, backups, and ongoing maintenance
• Configure and maintain plugins, payment gateways, and custom theme files
• Recommend improvements to website functionality, user experience, and overall site performance

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with WordPress development
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
• Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or similar tools
• Good understanding of SEO, website optimization, and performance best practices
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Knowledge of UX/UI best practices, responsive design, and mobile-first development
• Experience configuring payment gateways, plugins, and theme files
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Assets That Would Set You Apart

• Experience with WooCommerce
• Experience building or managing membership-based websites
• Experience working on financial services or professional services websites
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
