Position: Java Game Developer (libGDX)

Commitment: 10-40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain immersive 2D and 3D games using Java and the libGDX framework across multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and developers to prototype and deliver new gameplay experiences.
• Optimize game performance to ensure smooth gameplay across desktop, Android, and web platforms.
• Build and maintain reusable, modular code architectures to support scalable and efficient development.
• Implement gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, and interactive features to enhance player engagement.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Communicate clearly with team members and provide thorough documentation and feedback.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Java programming, particularly in game development.
• Extensive hands-on experience with the libGDX framework.
• Strong understanding of cross-platform game development concepts and challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize code for performance and efficiency.
• Experience designing reusable and modular code architectures in collaborative environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong documentation practices.
• Passion for building engaging gameplay experiences and strong attention to detail.
