Digital Technology Engineer

An opportunity has been announced to work with a fast growing company based out Staffordshire. They are seeking Digital Technology Engineer to join them on a permanent basis to help the business with those growth plans.

You will be given the opportunity to work across multiple teams to ensure that digital technology is implemented, tested and developed correctly. You and your team will ensure on time and efficient delivery of new technology through the installation of networking principles.

Role: Digital Technology Engineer

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Location: Stafford (5 days a week on-site for first 6 months, then hybrid 2/3 days)

Essential skills for this role:

• Good understanding of Cyber Security principles
• Proficient using Linux & Windows operating systems
• Ability to work autonomously
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges
• In depth knowledge of networking principles (Switches, routers, firewalls, VLANS and network security)
• Must hold a UK driving license

This role will heavily involve the individual to physically install hardware, switches and routers. There will be travel required for this position across the UK. You will be permitted to use the company vehicles for this and will be reimbursed any expenses (food, fuel, etc).
