Our global pharmaceutical client is seeking an HR Data Specialist to support the administration and integrity of employee data within the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system across the EMEA region on an initial 6-month contract.
This role will focus on the management of time, absence, and leave of absence processes, ensuring accurate data entry, compliance with regional requirements, and timely processing aligned with payroll deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain time off, time tracking, and leave of absence transactions within Workday.
- Review and approve transactions submitted by employees or managers and process backdated adjustments and corrections where required.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data, maintaining compliance with regulatory and payroll requirements across EMEA.
- Monitor return-to-work processes and follow up with managers as needed.
- Review reports to identify data discrepancies and update Workday records accordingly.
- Support employees and managers with time and absence related queries, escalating more complex matters where appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records and medical documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives within HR operations.
- Participate in ad-hoc HR projects when required.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in HR operations with a focus on time, absence, or leave administration.
- Strong experience working with HRIS/HCM systems, preferably Workday.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data manipulation.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies and escalate issues where necessary.
