We are a privately held, private equity backed, high growth Industrial organisation with a strong reputation across the infrastructure, mining, energy, transport, logistics and industrial sectors. With more than two thousand employees operating across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, the organisation delivers a diversified portfolio of services spanning industrial logistics, supply chain solutions, manufacturing capability and specialist consulting services.
The business has built a powerful market presence through operational excellence, technical capability and deep customer relationships across Australia's critical infrastructure and resources sectors.

As part of a confidential leadership transition, the founder is preparing to step out of the business and the Board, together with its private equity partners, is seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation through its next chapter of scale, operational sophistication and national expansion.

The incoming CEO will take stewardship of a profitable, well regarded and operationally strong business and will be tasked with accelerating growth, strengthening operating discipline and unlocking the next stage of enterprise value creation.

The Opportunity
As Chief Executive Officer you will assume full enterprise leadership of a complex and diversified industrial services business operating across multiple sectors and service lines.
The organisation sits at the intersection of industrial operations, logistics and supply chain delivery, manufacturing capability and specialised consulting services. This multidisciplinary model creates a platform capable of servicing major customers across the full lifecycle of industrial and infrastructure projects.
Reporting to the Board and working closely with private equity stakeholders, you will lead the executive team to execute a clear growth strategy while strengthening operational governance, commercial discipline and organisational capability.
The role requires a commercially astute and operationally credible leader capable of managing a technically complex workforce, delivering national growth and building long term enterprise value.
This appointment represents a significant leadership platform for an experienced CEO who thrives in operationally intensive, asset backed environments.
Key Accountabilities
Enterprise Leadership and Strategy
- Provide clear strategic leadership for the organisation, shaping and executing a multi year growth strategy aligned to private equity investment objectives.
- Partner closely with the Board and investors to define enterprise priorities, capital allocation and long term value creation initiatives.
- Lead the executive leadership team to deliver sustainable growth while maintaining operational excellence and customer trust.
- Ensure alignment across the organisation around strategy, culture and performance expectations.
- Drive disciplined execution of strategic initiatives including geographic expansion, service diversification and potential acquisitions.
Operational Excellence and Performance
- Oversee the operational performance of a geographically dispersed workforce across logistics operations, manufacturing facilities, project delivery teams and consulting services.
- Strengthen operating discipline, systems and performance measurement across the organisation.
- Ensure safety, quality and operational reliability remain core organisational priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost management and operational scalability.
- Embed a culture of accountability and performance across both blue collar and white collar teams.
Commercial Growth and Market Expansion
- Expand the organisation's presence across key industrial sectors including mining, energy, transport infrastructure and advanced manufacturing.
- Strengthen major customer relationships and pursue strategic partnerships that enhance market reach.
- Identify new growth opportunities across industrial services, supply chain capability and advisory services.
- Drive revenue growth through a combination of organic expansion, new service offerings and potential acquisitions.
- Position the organisation as a trusted partner across Australia's critical industrial sectors.
- Financial Performance and Value Creation
- Deliver strong financial performance aligned with private equity investment expectations.
- Drive EBITDA growth through revenue expansion, margin improvement and disciplined cost management.
- Ensure rigorous financial governance, forecasting and capital allocation.
- Lead enterprise value creation initiatives in partnership with the Board and private equity investors.
- Prepare the organisation for future strategic options including continued private equity ownership, recapitalisation or eventual exit.
Leadership, Culture and Organisational Capability
- Build and lead a high performing executive leadership team capable of managing a complex national business.
- Develop leadership capability across operational and corporate teams.
- Preserve the entrepreneurial culture and operational pragmatism of a founder led business while introducing the governance and structure required for scale.
- Strengthen succession planning and talent development across the organisation.
- Champion a culture grounded in safety, performance, accountability and customer service.
About You
This appointment requires an experienced enterprise leader with a proven track record of leading operationally intensive organisations. You will likely currently operate as a Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director or Divisional CEO within a large industrial or infrastructure focused organisation.
You will bring:
- Extensive executive leadership experience across industrial sectors such as mining services, manufacturing, logistics, transport infrastructure, engineering services or supply chain operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex operational businesses with large, geographically dispersed workforces.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with a track record of delivering sustainable growth and enterprise value creation.
- Experience operating within private equity backed environments or similarly performance driven ownership structures.
- Credibility with operational leaders and frontline workforces in technically demanding environments.
- The ability to balance strategic leadership with hands on operational engagement.
- Experience working with Boards and investors on strategy, governance and performance.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, operations management or related disciplines are advantageous.

- Base salary in the range of $600,000 to $800,000 plus Short Term Incentive and Superannuation.
