Your Responsibilities Would Include
- Ensuring vertical and horizontal communication and information flow between Electronics Purchasing and Business Line SESAM
- Being the Business Line interface towards the electronics manufacturer suppliers, the key electronics component suppliers and for purchasing electronics at the budget planning
- Collaborating with Hardware and Software teams, representing the Business Line in case of strategic electronic component selections
- Supporting component shortage, PCRs projects
- Advising Business Line and regions in the electronics fields
- Providing support on technical HW direction and mentoring the project team, including strategic development and technical decision-making
- Acting as Program Manager for identified strategic projects related to Electronics development/improvement
- Advising Product Manager in elaborating Product roadmap for the Business Line
- Providing training and recommendations in the electronics field
- Academic degree in Engineering; Master’s degree or PhD in Electronic Engineering preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in electronic engineering, hardware development (ideally in automotive electronics)
- At least 5 years of experience as a Program / Project Manager
- Experience in combining / moderating the engineering and business perspective in a sound and clear profit-oriented way
- Ability to assess the criticality of projects and to troubleshoot complex technical hardware issues
- Decision-making with strong technical judgment
- Strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team spirit and a pro-active attitude
- Proficiency in MS Office, experience with MATLAB and MS Project
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), German and/or French are considered strong assets
