Senior .Net Developer

This role would suit someone coming out of a modern Tech environment with the hunger and eagerness to help grow this team and go on this journey with them.

With the backing of a driven, ambitions, Head of Technology, this role offers lots of interesting problems to solve as well as an opportunity to be part of something great/New! As a Senior Developer you will also contribute to the design and overall architecture!

What you bring

• 7+ years’ work experience as a .Net Developer (versions 7 & 8) plus strong experience across building & supporting web-based applications.
• Strong experience in designing, implementing and integrating service-oriented architectures such as RESTful API’s and microservices.
• Strong experience in designing, implementing and integrating Azure Cloud architectures including APIM, ESB, Function Apps and SQL Databases.
• Strong experience with modern single page application frameworks such as Angular, or equivalent is a bonus (or ReactJS)
• Strong experience with Agile development techniques (e.g. test-driven development, unittesting, continuous integration, test and deployment automation).
• Strong experience with Git and source control management
• An understanding of the Financial industry would be desirable.
• Experience working in an Enterprise environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Building scalable and performant solutions with modern technologies while maintaining existing software assets.
• Developing new capabilities within a complex mixed technology application suite.
• Analysing requirements, developing and documenting solution designs, deploying and supporting solutions depending on individual project needs.
• Identifying opportunities to improve product components and processes in areas of the business where technology can make a difference.
• Contribute hands on code as well as to design and architecture.
• Work closely and collaborate with peers to share knowledge and achieve great outcomes.
• Provide on-going application support to end users as required.
• Assist with application build, configuration and release management.
• Collaborate, experiment and contribute to an Agile software team.
• Mentoring less experienced members within the team

This role is based in Melbourne CBD with a hybrid working model, currently the team goes into the office once a week (with x4 days at home) but this is subject to change.
