Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our dev team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building modern, responsive web applications, with deep expertise in Angular, TypeScript, and web component technologies. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our user-facing applications and reusable component libraries.

As a Senior Developer, you will be expected to contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from concept and design to implementation and deployment. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior developers, contributing to architectural decisions, and ensuring the quality, accessibility, and performance of our frontend applications.

Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reusable code for our Angular applications.

* Build and maintain reusable UI components using StencilJS and Web Components with Shadow DOM encapsulation.

* Implement responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces following modern UX best practices.

* Manage client-side state using Apollo Client for GraphQL data and RxJS for reactive programming patterns.

* Consume and integrate GraphQL APIs, including queries, mutations, and cache management.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to define, design, and ship new features.

* Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using Jest for unit tests and Cypress for end-to-end tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.

* Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing frontend applications for performance and user experience.

* Contribute to architectural discussions and help drive technical decisions.

* Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

Required:

* 5+ years of professional experience in frontend web development.

* Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript.

* Extensive experience with Angular (version 15+) including components, services, routing, and dependency injection.

* In-depth knowledge of web fundamentals, including HTML5, CSS3, and browser APIs.

* Experience with reactive programming patterns using RxJS.

* Solid understanding of CSS architecture, including CSS custom properties (variables).

* Experience with version control systems (Git).

* Familiarity with unit testing and end-to-end testing practices.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

* Experience building reusable UI elements with Web Components, particularly using StencilJS or Lit.

* Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client for data fetching and state management.

* Familiarity with Cypress or similar end-to-end testing frameworks.

* Experience working in an Nx monorepo environment.

* Knowledge of internationalization (i18n) patterns and libraries such as i18next.

* Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, ECharts).

* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows.

* Experience with Storybook for component documentation and development.

* Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.

* Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar).

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
