Cyber Security Assurance Specialist (Remote)

Support a high standard of secure, integrated, and reliable in-home care services by safeguarding digital assets and ensuring alignment with our values of integrity, trust, respect, and compassion.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within the Security Team to enhance cybersecurity practices across digital development.
• Work with development, operations, and security teams to drive secure application design, implementation, and automation.
• Implement and monitor security protocols to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of digital assets.
• Manage security assurance, compliance, and risk-based controls across services.

Core Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain policies, standards, and documentation for security assurance.
• Apply information security policies to mitigate potential security risks.
• Advise Digital Services teams on security alignment with standards and risk management.
• Ensure adoption of security policies and integrate specific security awareness into the application development process.
• Collaborate with external vendors to research and implement up-to-date security methodologies and standards.

Internal/External Collaboration:

• Internally: Engage with Security, Digital Development, and Reporting teams.
• Externally: Liaise with vendors to assess and implement security standards.

Required Skills:

• Strong communication, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively translate technical cybersecurity information to business terms.
• Knowledge of security technologies (e.g., Operating Systems, Network Security, Vulnerability Management).
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, ISO 27002, OWASP, and NIST standards.
