Mid-Level Software Developer - Location: UK - Salary: £50,000 – £60,000
We’re working with a growing technology company in the financial services sector that is looking to hire a Mid-Level Software Developer. The team builds and maintains a regulated platform that supports financial transactions and community-led projects across the UK and Ireland.
This role will focus on developing and supporting a high-availability production platform, contributing to backend services, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and front-end components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop backend services using .NET / C#
- Build and maintain APIs and integrations
- Work with event-driven systems (Azure Service Bus / queues)
- Deliver features supporting payments and financial transactions
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Follow secure coding practices aligned with PCI DSS and GDPR
Requirements:
- Strong C# / .NET skills
- Experience with REST APIs and SQL databases
- Exposure to cloud environments (Azure or AWS)
- Comfortable working on live production systems
Nice to Have
