About The Role
For many children, their first experience in our game is through participation in AFL Auskick, junior football, and school football programs. As an AFL Game Development Casual, you play a key role in helping our Development workforce grow participation through the delivery of fun and engaging Auskick, junior and schools football programs, introducing participants to the AFL. You will be trained to deliver fun experiences to diverse audiences in a safe, consistent, and inclusive way.
This is a great entry point into the AFL industry with opportunities to work across other departments, including Michael Long Learning and Leadership program, Remote projects and events, such as AFL Matches.
Work in the sport you are passionate in, within a great and supportive team environment, with flexible work hours.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
- Deliver AFL Auskick programs and support clubs in delivering their programs
- Effective promotion of programs within schools, including school assemblies and clinics
- Confident with leading in school AFL clinics.
- Assisting with school football competitions and gala days including set up, umpiring and scoring and timekeeping
- Ensure adequate equipment is available to conduct programs
- Provide assistance to Developments Leads and Coordinators as required.
- A fun and enthusiastic nature with a passion for working with children
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (particularly with primary & secondary schools aged children)
- Demonstrated experience in providing a high level of customer service
- Ability to adapt to change, remain effective and calm when faced with changing tasks, responsibilities, or people
- Interest in Australian Football
- Working with Children’s Check or ability to obtain
- Current NT Drivers licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
